Add remote app support functionality like OneDrive is currently offering
OneDrive now offers support for starting in background for RemoteApp. I tried the same regkey for Box but it didn't work, can the same functionality be added for Box Drive?

Request to improve synchronization speed between Box Web UI and BoxDrive"
We would like to request an improvement in the synchronization speed between Box Web UI and BoxDrive so that they can be synchronized within 5 seconds.
Our investigation of the synchronization speed is based on the following items.Pattern (3) Upload to Box Drive and check the screen update on WebUI: Result: No automatic update even after waiting for more than 5 minutes.

Box Drive performance improvement request when using VDI
The VDI is experiencing operational delays when using Box Drive, and this is affecting our business.
It was found that the delay was caused by a large number of disk I/Os.
We checked the Box Drive logs and found that Box was reflecting 1,000 to 2,000 operation logs on Box to each user every morning.
Since the above operations occur simultaneously for all users, there is a large load on the infrastructure.

操作遅延の要因としては多数のディスクI/Oによって発生していることが判明しており、
Box Driveのログを確認した所、Boxから毎朝1000～2000のBox上での操作ログを各ユーザーへ反映されていました。
上記操作が全てのユーザで同時に発生する為、インフラストラクチャに大きな負荷が掛かっています。

Unify move and copy behavior between BoxDrive and the Web browser.
There is a detrimental effect caused by the fact that BoxDrive and the Web browser have different specifications for the operation of "move and copy," which is a basic operation of Box (it is actually upload and download).
In particular, the fact that Shield's Access Policy and Classification Labels "maintain the original labels when moved and copied" is a major reason to use that feature.
However, BoxDrive does not maintain labels, which does not lead to enhanced security or control of usage.
Since there are many users who use BoxDrive as their main application, we would like to see the…42 votesIt's working as designed.

Box Online Only
Admins should be able to decide which groups of users are allowed to use Box Drive versus Box online only. Box Online only would increase security in that users would not be able to download files and would be forced to edit/view files in browser only. This helps tremendously in securing data that contractors need to access.

Show who has locked a file in Box Drive
In the Webapp you are able to see who has locked a file, in Drive you cannot see this unless you navigate to the web. Heavy Drive users/customers require this information in the Drive UI

offline files and selective sync
I would like to see the ability to mark files and folders for local or offline storage. Currently box drive allows for only the folder to be marked offline or downloaded locally. When I don't need to have a file downloaded anymore there is not a way for me to mark them offline. I have tried marking the folder offline but that doesn't work to make the files I want offline. Please automatically close the tab of the browser we used to log in after completing the login process.
The login method from Box Drive has been changed to using a web browser.
Currently, the behavior is that the tab of the web browser used for login authentication remains after login is completed.

Box Drive app more easily accessible
It would be convenient to have an install Box link located in the Help menu or my Account icon similar to Dropbox. Even still, when I navigate to the Box App Center I have to go to Box Drive, scroll down to the respective OS and install. It sounds tedious but I needed to install Box and Dropbox on a bunch of computers and was reminded how the Box user experience still doesn't hold up to Dropbox. Searching for names with & does not work
Hi, we have a group called M&A - you cannot actually share any folders or files with this group through the traditional methods because searching for M M& or M&A does not produce the group on box.com

grant access
I have a parent folder with many multiple subfolders with additional subfolders. Is it possible to grant different levels of access (i.e. lower level such as Viewer access) despite giving Editor access to the parent folder? If that feature could be included, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

We want to restore a file by ourselves in Box Drive, when our accidentally move/delete it.
When using Box Drive, we often move/delete file(s) by mistake!
We want easily check the history of actions taken to moved/deleted contents, in order to easily restore it to its original location in case of a mistake.

When dragging files to your desktop from BOX it should be a default of COPY, instead the default is MOVE. Unfortunately when user MOVES the
After upgrading to Monterey, Box Drive has made a significant change in behavior where dragging a file from Box Drive to the local filesystem moves the file, rather than the previous behavior of copying the file. It will still copy if you're dragging the file to removable media, but not the local Mac drive.
Anyone know of a way to alter this behavior back to the previous?
It causes three fairly significant issues.

Open in Box Drive
Ability to click a link that opens the current web box folder on the local Box Drive. This would allow for quick local file editing when you navigated to the folder via web Box.

Customization of Main Screen
There should be away that you do not have to view all of the files and folders that you have been to invited to collaborate on when you are in Box. Currently, there is only All Files which shows folders and documents that I can't move, organize, or hide because I don't own them. There should be an option to customize my view to just my files and folders. There could also be an option to view just collaboration files and folders. Until Windows 10, when you right-clicked on a content in BoxDrive, the BoxDrive menu was displayed immediately.
In Windows 11, the menu does not appear immediately, and the menu finally appears after pressing "right click > check other options".
We are aware that the menu will appear as before just by right-clicking when it is compatible with Windows 11 native apps, so please take action.
OneDrive and Notepad++ already support native apps, so only BoxDrive is not as convenient as it should be.
