Request for additional functions to BoxCanvas
We have received requests from users to add the following functions to BoxCanvas as well as BoxNote.
A function to display a preview of the URL.

Box CLI Email Notifications and Folder Settings
We would like to enable upload notifications for select folders, on particular users or groups.
Currently users need to go into each folder's settings to then check the box for upload notifications, or they can select upload notifications in their user settings.
The first option is very time consuming, we have about 140 folders that we would like to target and it is hard to force employee's to complete this.
The 2nd option removes the importance of notifications if users are being notified for everything.It would be great to have a bulk option to enable notifications or manage other…

SCIM Provisioning for Box Zones
We'd like to provision Box Zones with SCIM provisioning instead of SAML Attribute. We use SCIM for all other provisioning. Not sure why we can't use it for a data residency Zone.

Box Relay - add action for shared link
There are certain levels of folders that should not have a shared link set. Box Relay would be a good solution to monitor if a shared link was created on a folder, but this option doesn't exist in the list of folder actions.

Email Notifications for Viewers
Users are able to set their email notification in the folder options. However, if you have "viewer" access, you are not able to select these notifications for uploads. You must have "editor" access to do so.
We have groups with "Viewer" access as they shouldn't need to edit files in the said directory, however they should be notified when a new file has been uploaded.
The only solution box support provided was to turn on the upload notification in the user settings for all of their files. This would be counterproductive as the clutter of notifications for all uploads would…

Recycle bin restoration
I would like it to be possible to check where the data will be restored when restoring it from the Recycle Bin.
Also, I think it would be more convenient if you could change the restore destination and name when restoring.

The ability to prohibit folder operations by users with editor privileges
From a folder management perspective, we do not want end users to be able to create new folders, delete folders, or rename folders at all in all hierarchies, with the goal of preventing end user misoperation with folders.

Send Box Sign requests on behalf of another person.
I would like to be able to have someone send a sign request on my behalf from my email address. I would like to be able to approve a document for signature, then have an Exec Asst send the request out as if it came from me.

To streamline the data upload process to the BOX app on the iPad, you can follow these steps:

Scheduling documents with Box Sign
It would be very beneficial for us to be able to schedule documents that require review and signature to be sent at a predetermined time. We use SIgn to send people involved in our investigations (higher ed Title IX) documents, so it is easier to preschedule things then have to do them at various times.

Content Explorer Default View Property
Box Content Explorer - allow an attribute to set default view to Grid (Thumbnail) view.
This view option is available on the Embed iframe, but strangely not an option for Content Explorer - means that all of my users need an extra click each time). I cannot trigger a click as Content Explorer is already in an iFrame

Microsoft Office
When collaborating on Office documents shared via Box we're unable to track changes. It would be nice to have this enabled. Essentially the same functionality as if we were working within Sharepoint.

About the display when Box is opened from the Team mobile app with the mobile screen mode "dark mode".
I use my mobile to access Box on the Teams mobile app.
When the mobile screen mode is set to "Dark Mode", the screen will appear dark when the "Box Files" option on the Teams mobile app is selected and the box is opened, making it impossible to see file names, etc.
Please improve the Box so that it can be used in dark mode.（Japanese）

Gallery
I share albums of photos which are hosted in a box folder. It would be great if the page that I share could look like a very nice gallery layout similar to a Google photos album where some photos are bigger and some are smaller. Rather than the UI of a grid layout with filename. To have an option to to view like this when sharing

Dataroom Indexing
Similar to other virtual dataroom software solutions, Box.com should be able to autoindex files. This is a very basic capability that other solutions like Egnyte, Firmex and Sharefile are able to do. The reason this is important is so that you can direct an external party to look for a file at a specific index/location such as 1.1.5.6.4. When a client is viewing on their phone in browser, the video should go full screen when they hold their phone horizontally.
I have clients who view our videos on their phone everyday. I can’t control if they have the box ap or what phone/browser they use. But they should be able to view our videos full screen horizontally. Currently it will go full screen Vertically, but if they move their phone horizontally it is a weird zoomed in look that is not full screen.
